Local Primary Schools are invited to enrol in the interactive workshop Children’s Pledges of Hope for World Environment Day 2019.
Teachers of Grades Two to Six can for a limited time book the Creative Recycling Centre to come to their classroom and run the workshop on how we can all lessen the impact we have on our local environment, waterways and reef.
During the workshop students will make bunting type flags on which they can express their opinions and ideas, and make pledges to protect the environment.
Creative Recycling Centre volunteers made the flags from recycled fabrics.
The flags will be joined and displayed at Ecofest at Tondoon Botanic Gardens on Sunday 2nd June 2019.
To book, email email@example.com. For further information visit www.creativerecyclingcentre.com.
The Children’s Pledges of Hope for World Environment Day 2019 is joint project of the Gladstone Healthy Harbour Partnership, Conservation Volunteers Australia, Tangaroa Blue and Creative Recycling Centre.
