Community Nature Mandala Art
What is a Mandala?
A Mandala is a design within a circle and mandala art is ancient - more than 2000 years old. They are found in many cultures and they symbolically represent life and its constant cycles and interconnection. Nature mandalas are a way for people to strengthen the connective bond between themselves and nature.
Nature mandalas are ephemeral which means they only last a short time. At the end of the day the Mandala will be cleaned up, with materials returned to nature and the site returned to its original state.
It is a fun activity open to all ages and abilities and no creative experience is necessary.
