2022 Gladstone Harbour Festival
In 2022 the Gladstone Harbour Festival celebrated its 60th year!
To celebrate this milestone, Creative Recycling Centre invited children and families to help create a 60th Commemorative Community Magazine! The pages have all been compiled and the complete magazine can be viewed by clicking here. Thank you to all those who contributed and created a page. |
60th Commemorative Community Magazine
What are your fondest memories of the Gladstone Harbour Festival?
On both Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th April, CRC invited children and families share their favourite memory or experience of the Gladstone Harbour Festival to help create a commemorative community magazine. A range of drawing and writing materials, as well as magazines and old festival programs that were destined for landfill, were available to document these memories in a creative way and create a page for the magazine. This activity encouraged families and friends to connect and share their memorable experiences at the Gladstone Harbour Festival over the years and across generations. |
Creative Recycling Centre will be part of the Kids Zone facilitating the community magazine and other activities over the Easter Weekend.
