Creative Recycling Centre is an environmentally focused community group with a creative and inclusive vision of connecting, educating and empowering the Gladstone region's approach to waste minimisation, recycling and environmental protection.

The centre provides an all-inclusive space for the exchange of environmentally focused ideas, initiatives and education avenues that supports the organisations mission and vision. Creative Recycling Centre endeavors to provide interactive, invigorating and educational programs to schools and community groups within the Gladstone Region. 

Creative Recycling Centre is a not of profit organisation guided by a management committee and supported by a passionate group of like-minded volunteers., The aligned aim of Creative Recycling Centre is to create a business/community best practice model that positions the Gladstone region as a leader in environmental sustainability.

Sadly, after 7 years since it all began, Creative Recycling Centre's Management Committee has made the hard decision to dissolve the organisation.

A number of factors have contributed to this final decision, primarily the difficulties in running a not for profit without ongoing funding commitments.

We greatly appreciate all the support and contributions we’ve received over the years. We are super proud of the work we have done. We have delivered some amazing projects with the support of many wonderful organisations, businesses and a generous bunch of volunteers. A special thank you to our Management Committee and staff who have contributed many ideas, hours and love towards this organisation.
